The 77' ELCO's were the first type of motor torpedo boat to see active duty with the US Navy in WWII. Developed from a British design, they fought on all fronts, and it was aboard one of these boats that Gen. MacArthur made good his escape from the Philippines.
Large is perhaps an understatement in this case. Approaching eight feet long, and nearly two feet wide, it is a candidate for multiple weedeater engine installations.
